Inside the Classroom

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum is at the forefront of bringing popular culture into the classroom.

Our educational programs and exhibits reach hundreds of thousands of students of all ages and teach them how music has played a role in some of the most important social, cultural and political issues in modern history.  The Museum also offers teachers many opportunities to learn how to energize their classrooms with popular music.  Workshops, institutes, and forums demonstrate ways to integrate popular music across the disciplines so that students meet and exceed educational standards.

Our mission is to collect, preserve, and provide access to these resources for scholars, educators, students, journalists, and the general public in order to broaden awareness and understanding of rock and roll, its roots, and its impact on our society.
