This evening featured a special showing of select footage from Tedesco's film The Wrecking Crew.
Blaine has played on more hit records than any drummer in the rock era, including 40 #1 singles and 150 that made the Top Ten; eight of the records he played on won Grammys for Record of the Year. In addition to his work with Elvis Presley and the Beach Boys, Blaine’s best-known affiliation is with producer Phil Spector, where he served as the percussive backbone of the legendary session musicians dubbed “The Wrecking Crew." He was a key component of Spector’s “Wall of Sound” production, which yielded such classic rock and roll hits as “Be My Baby” by the Ronettes, and “Da Doo Ron Ron” by the Crystals.

Celebrated studio guitarist Flick is best known as the guitar player of the legendary theme song for the James Bond movies. Played on the instrumental soundtrack to the Beatles’ movie A Hard Days Night. Flick also worked with many other distinguished musicians, such as Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, the Dave Clark Five, Burt Bacharach, Nancy Sinatra and Dusty Springfield.

Life magazine honored Bob Moore as the number one “Country Bassist” of all time in September 1994. With Over 17,000 recording sessions to date, Moore has worked with some of the most influential music artists including Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Roy Orbison, Connie Frances and Bob Dylan. One can hear his distinctive bass lines in Simon and Garfunkel’s “Bridge Over Troubled Water” and Patsy Cline’s “Crazy”.

Legendary drummer Philip Paul began his music career at the age of 16, but his career took off when he began playing with musicians such as Sonny Stitt, Bud Powell, and Dizzy Gillespie. In 1951, Paul traveled to Cincinnati, where he would soon meet Syd Nathan, president and owner of King Records. Philip became the studio drummer for King Records from 1952 to 1964, playing on over 350 recordings with artists such as Hank Ballard, Milt Buckner, and Freddie King.

Formed his first band at the age of nine, before joining legendary guitarist Lester Flatt and his band as their mandolin player. Before he was 20 years old, Stuart joined Johnny Cash’s band. After his time on the road with Cash, Stuart eventually became a solo artist, achieving fame on his own and earning hit songs, a platinum album, five gold records, four Grammy awards and recording 14 studio albums.
