The Vans Warped Tour - America’s longest-running touring festival - is a featured exhibit at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. The Museum recognizes the cultural relevance of the Vans Warped Tour and its significance to the punk-rock/skate community with the 2007 exhibit and the time capsule. The exhibit, Warped: 12 Years of Music, Mayhem and More, opened on January 27 and will run through September 3, 2007 at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. The exhibit, which tells the story of America’s longest-running touring festival and its impact on the music world, features memorabilia from NOFX, New Found Glory, My Chemical Romance, Dropkick Murphys, Bouncing Souls, Rancid and many, many more.
Once the initial six-month exhibit ends, these items will be put into a “time capsule” to be stored at the Museum for 25 years, opened at a special event in 2031.
