The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum regularly hosts three signature fundraising events each year. Proceeds from these fundraisers support the educational programs at the Museum.
The ultimate honor in rock and roll is bestowed upon artists each spring. The 2015 Inductees are The Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Green Day, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Lou Reed, Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble, and Bill Withers in the Performer Category. The Award for Musical Excellence goes to Ringo Starr. The Early Influence Award goes to The “5” Royales.
It's Only Rock and Roll Benefit has been called the “Party of the Year” in Cleveland. Past benefit concerts have featured Inductees Daryl Hall, John Oates, Darlene Love, Wanda Jackson and Mavis Staples, as well as Cyndi Lauper, Chuck Jackson, and Curt Smith.
This educational program features a week-long series and an evening concert dedicated to an Annual Music Master. The event honors artists whose careers have had a significant influence on the birth of rock and roll and its ongoing evolution. The 2014 Music Masters event honored the Everly Brothers.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum also holds several exhibit openings and smaller, more intimate fundraising events throughout the year.
