The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum regularly hosts three signature fundraising events each year. Proceeds from these fundraisers support the educational programs at the Museum.
The ultimate honor in rock and roll is bestowed upon artists each spring. The 2014 Inductees are Peter Gabriel, Daryl Hall and John Oates, KISS, Nirvana, Linda Ronstadt and Cat Stevens; as well as Ahmet Ertegun Award for Lifetime Achievement Inductees Brian Epstein and Andrew Loog Oldham; and Award for Musical Excellence Inductee The E Street Band.
It's Only Rock and Roll Benefit has been called the “Party of the Year” in Cleveland. Past benefit concerts have featured Inductees Darlene Love, Wanda Jackson and Mavis Staples, as well as Cyndi Lauper, Chuck Jackson, and Curt Smith.
This educational program features a week-long series and an evening concert dedicated to an Annual Music Master. The event honors artists whose careers have had a significant influence on the birth of rock and roll and its ongoing evolution. The 2014 Music Masters event will honor the Everly Brothers.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum also holds several exhibit openings and smaller, more intimate fundraising events throughout the year.
