Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum

Interviews, Performances & more

Since the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum opened in 1995, we’ve conducted programs called the Hall of Fame and Legends Series.  These are interview-based events, often with some acoustic or reduced format performance. We’ve done them with Aretha Franklin, Ray Davies, Little Richard, Roger McGuinn, Bootsy Collins, Robbie Robertson, Chuck D, Wilson Pickett, Mick Jones and many more.  They’re programs that are at the heart of what we do and we’ve seen some pretty remarkable nights. The Craft is a continuation of this program – a deeper discussion with newer artists who have the same relationship to their art that people like Aretha, Robbie Robertson and Mick Jones have. The conversations we have here are just what the series name suggests: conversations about the Craft.
