Rock Hall EDU

Q&A with Lita Ford

Earlier this year, guitarist and original member of The Runaways Lita Ford took time with our Director of Education, Mandy Smith for a Q&A specifically intended for a new story made available on Rock Hall EDU, where teachers can find tons of free online learning resources for their students. Before performing an amazing set in “The Garage” and donating an artifact to the Museum, Lita talks about how she set out to master that “electric sound” from an early age, who inspired her to play & learn complex riffs, and her take on the “individuality” of rock & roll.

An Evening with Todd Rundgren, 1996

Rundgren shares his perspective on where rock & roll got its start, how the rules continue to change & be broken in the industry and his eerily accurate prediction about the how fans would consume music in the soon-to-be digital age.
