In Memoriam

Guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter Denny Laine was a founding member of 2018 Inductees The Moody Blues. Laine sang the lead vocal on the band’s first hit, “Go Now,” and wrote numerous songs during their early years. He went on to become part of the founding lineup of Wings, co-writing with Paul McCartney on songs including the UK Number One “Mull of Kintyre.” Laine also sang the lead vocal on several of the group’s songs, notably the live favorite “Time to Hide.”
