This free event takes place on the outdoor plaza, please reserve your free tickets below. Event does not include museum admission but can be purchased below. Museum admission is always free for Members and City of Cleveland residents.

About Cleveland Juneteenth Freedom Fest
Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery on June 19, 1865 - the day when all African Americans were freed from slavery. Set to take place on Friday, June 16 with a Community Fireworks Show starting at sundown + Saturday, June 17 from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm on Mall C in the heart of Downtown Cleveland, the city-wide, family-friendly celebration and commemoration of Juneteenth.
Festivities will also include a vendor village, soul food row to spotlight Black businesses and entrepreneurs; community programming and education, spoken-word performances, interactive art demonstrations, food and much more.
