About Public Squares

Claiming to be inter-dimensional travelers piloting human bodies, Public Squares have been evolving since their initial crash landing a few years ago. A science-fiction aesthetic, philosophically twisted lyrics and music that can go from reminding you of The Cars to The Misfits before you realize what just happened. Their first release, 2018’s “NWR&P” was an official Record Store Day release, and they followed up with late 2019’s ambitious concept record “From Up There.” They’re now returning to Earth, full force, to celebrate the delivery of their most fully realized collection of songs, simply titled "HITS!” Classified as Heavy New Wave, if you’ve ever wondered what early Cure or Psychedelic Furs might sound like if they were somehow fused with Black Sabbath or Black Flag, "HITS!" just might have the answer.

About Napsack

Napsack is a rock band from Cleveland, Ohio comprised of Sarah Cuturic (vocals & guitar), Will Cuneo (guitar), A.J. Graber (bass), and Jake Tisdale (drums). Their sound is both eclectic and classic: if their 2019 debut EP, Not in a Bad Way, Partner, was an homage to the messed-up, Rust Belt pop rock of Guided By Voices, then their subsequent album Put You First (Just Because Records, 2021) added both clarity and breadth to their sound, displaying a keen melodic sense and simple lyricism that evokes the likes of Big Star and Wilco. Their new work is sharper and more joyful than ever, brimming with three-part harmonies and stealing unabashedly from the books of power-pop, post-punk, and 1960’s country music. Napsack is recording new music this summer and playing concerts throughout the Midwest.
