STRANGE NOTES have set out to make a rocking, country honk and roll with a healthy punk rock aesthetic. The band is constantly evolving and never afraid to mix in any type genre within their song writing styles. The Strange Notes also have the unique ability to co-headline performances with heavier and yet more mellow style bands seamlessly, making them generally appealing to a wide range of fans.
Cleveland’s cherished three-piece punk act The Missed formed when lead singer/guitarist Mickey Mocnik moved back home enlisting long-time friend and bassist Sebastian Wagner to start a new band.
After releasing a demo and playing some backyards and basements, they attracted drummer Kent Sliney and started to season their sound, releasing a 7” EP with local label Just Because Records. In 2022, the band followed up with their debut LP “Activation” — continuing to salute bands like The Wipers, Replacements and contemporary acts like Bully and Radioactivity.
