1953

Hank Ballard & the Royals hit #6 on the R&B chart with “Get It”.

1954

Hank Ballard & the Midnighters hits #1 on the R&B chart and #22 on the pop chart with “Work With Me Annie”, #2 on the R&B chart with “Sexy Ways and #1 on the R&B chart and #23 on the pop chart with “Annie Had A Baby”.

1959

Hank Ballard & the Midnighters hit #4 on the R&B chart with the King Records single “Teardrops On Your Letter.”

1960

Hank Ballard & the Midnighters hits #2 on the R&B chart and #7 (8/15) on the pop chart with “Finger Poppin’ Time”, #6 on the R&B chart and #28 (9/19) on the pop chart with “The Twist” and #1 on the R&B chart and #6 (11/21) on the pop chart with “Let’s Go, Let’s Go, Let’s Go.” All three singles are released on King Records.

1961

Hank Ballard & the Midnighters hits #3 on the R&B chart and #23 on the pop chart with “Hoochie Coochie Coo” and #3 on the R&B chart and #26 on the pop chart with “The Switch-A-Roo”.

1990

Hank Ballard is inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
