Kids Film It Festival 2019
Ryan’s dream was to find a way to pair his passion for movies with a philanthropic cause that hit very close to home for his family – Parkinson’s Research.
He decided to create a festival to showcase films created by kids. All proceeds from the festival go to The Michael J. Fox Foundation to benefit Parkinson’s Research. The first ever International Kids Film It Festival was held in Cleveland, Ohio at the iconic Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2016. Last year, the Kids Film It Festival had over 100 submissions from around the country and more than $64,000 was raised for Parkinson’s Research.
Age groups are 8-11, 12-14, and 15-18 with 3 categories: film, animation, and music. There will be one winner for each age group in each category. Each winner will receive a gift card worth up to $500. Go to The Kids Film It Festival for details.
