Machine Gun Kelly Day
Saturday, August 13, 2022 will go down in Cleveland history as the day MGK took over Cleveland. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Live Nation invite everyone to MGK Day on the Rock Hall’s Union Home Mortgage Plaza from 11 am – 2:30 pm featuring live music and activities for the entire family. The event will kick off that evenings sold out headlining stadium performance at FirstEnergy Stadium - the artist’s biggest hometown show to date. More info can be found HERE.
In celebration of this special event, Machine Gun Kelly has loaned his “Tickets to My Downfall” outfit, Schecter PT Model electric guitar, his custom Cupid microphone stand and pink microphone to the Museum. MGK wore this outfit and used this guitar, custom microphone stand and microphone on his 2021 – 2022 Mainstream Sellout Tour in support of both the Tickets to My Downfall and his sixth album, Mainstream Sellout, which was released on March 25, 2022. MGK has designed several of his own microphone stands – including Cupid. The PT Model guitar was released by Schecter as MGK’s official signature guitar. Fans can view these newly acquired artifacts on display in the Rock Hall’s Right Here, Right Now exhibit.
The entry process will also kick off for the 26th Annual Tri-C High School Rock Off at this event. Entry forms for 2023 Tri-C High School Rock Off are available now HERE. In honor of that, live music will be performed by previous Rock Off winners and participants and The Contemporary Youth Orchestra:

Cleveland Contemporary Youth Orchestra - Locally based, this 25-year iconic non-profit musical arts organization works with more than 65 Northeast Ohio High School Systems, educating and inspiring young musicians through exceptional musical training, unique performance opportunities and high-quality educational programming. Through collaborative programming, CYO and Tri-C’s Creative Arts program addresses gaps in music education in the Cleveland area. CYO has performed with several artists including Jason Mraz, Melissa Etheridge, STYX, Ben Folds & Kenny Loggins to name a few.
DJ ACE will be on hand performing throughout the day in between artists.
