about the power of rock

The Power of Rock Experience is an immersive three-part exhibit. The show starts on the bridge with induction ceremony presentations on a dynamic digital screen that sets the mood and provides an informal roll call of some of the world’s greatest performers.

Fans then enter Connor Theater for the main show – Demme’s 12-minute film projected on dynamic, moving screens with concert lighting and other surprises that immerse fans in the sights and sounds of induction ceremony performances. Legendary artists featured in the film include Stevie Wonder, Chuck Berry, Joan Jett, U2, Bruce Springsteen, Deborah Harry, Metallica, Mick Jagger, Tina Turner, Green Day, Prince and many more. The experience is complemented with a close-up look at some of the rock and roll treasures featured in the film including Prince’s outfit, Tina Weymouth of the Talking Heads bass guitar, clothing from Chuck Berry, James Hetfield’s electric guitar, and more.

After the Demme film concludes, fans will have the opportunity to interact with Rock Hall inductees and have their personal memories captured in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. In the Say It Loud! story booths, presented by PNC Bank, fans are interviewed by Rock Hall Inductees including Smokey Robinson, Michelle Phillips of The Mamas & The Papas, Mary Wilson of The Supremes and Alice Cooper. The interviews also are shareable on social media and available for fans to download.

The Power of Rock Experience brings all of us closer to the Inductees, engages fans and connects with audiences of all generations.
