Rock Hall Live Powered by PNC Full Summer Concert Series

Rock Hall Live! Powered by PNC is Coming

ROCK & ROLL HALL OF FAME SUMMER CONCERT SERIES STARTS MAY 27 WITH THE CATCH MEANING MUSIC FESTIVAL

CONTINUES THROUGH SEPTEMBER WITH MORE THAN 50 EVENTS

CLEVELAND, May 22, 2018 – Cleveland’s music scene is getting hotter this summer! Rock Hall Live! powered by PNC is taking center stage Memorial Day to Labor Day, with a lineup that includes more live concerts, festivals and events than ever.

Highlights of the summer lineup are performances from 2009 Inductee Wanda Jackson (with Nashville all-female trio Bang!Bang!), 2015 Inductee Ricky Byrd (Joan Jett and the Blackhearts), and 2014 Inductee John Oates (Hall & Oates), as well as country rocker Jesse Dayton, and Sum 41 drummer Frank Zummo.

This year’s lineup kicks off with Catch Meaning Festival May 27, featuring some of the hottest electronic funk/R&B bands around. The summer continues with the Rock Hall’s FREE Summer in the City concerts, running Wednesdays, July through August, showcasing exceptional female-fronted bands that should be on everyone’s playlist. Things rev up with Blues, Bikes & BBQ, an all-day Klipschfest (special headliner to be announced), and a Taylgate prior to Taylor Swift’s concert at First Energy Stadium, featuring eclectic, multi-genre band The Accidentals. Plus, the inaugural InCuya Music Festival, which boasts 24 performers. All with plenty of rock on tap from top local, regional and national artists – both established and emerging.

Music lovers can also catch more than 50 local artists performing in the beer garden on the plaza. Live music by local artists can be heard during Rock Hall Live! Lunch by the Lake on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from noon to 2 p.m. in June, July and August.

Rock Hall Live! Sun Sets, offered on Thursdays and Fridays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. ET in July and August, features live music, trivia and craft beers from Great Lakes Brewing Company, Fat Head’s Brewery and Magic Hat Brewing Company.

Whatever your musical tastes, this summer there are plenty of opportunities at the Rock Hall to enjoy great live music, museum experiences such as new exhibits like Stay Tuned: Rock on TV and the Hall of Fame Gallery, Stories of Rock and the Rock Hall Film Series, and food and drinks on the plaza and in the All Access Café, which doesn’t require an admission ticket.

Families can also take advantage of free events, including a Fam Jam with programming and activities geared toward little rockers, a Michael Jackson Birthday Bash, and the annual Believe in CLE Yoga Event.

Rock Hall Live! powered by PNC and Summer in the City are sponsored by Fat Head’s Brewery, Great Lakes Brewing Company, Magic Hat Brewing Company and Tito’s Handmade Vodka.
