The celebration kicks off today and includes a series of exclusive, never-before-seen programs that showcase the Rock Hall’s impact

Today kicks off Rock Your Giving Week! As we celebrate Giving Tuesday, The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame asks fans for help in amplifying our mission to engage teach, and inspire through the power of rock & roll by making a gift to our annual fund.

The Rock Hall is the world’s foremost museum dedicated to preserving and sharing the legacy of rock & roll music, offering a robust range of educational programming to more than 1 million students, welcoming over 500,000 fans from around the world each year and preserving over 30,000 unique artifacts housed in our permanent collection.

Rock & roll connects us all and with the generous support of fans, the Rock Hall can continue to build this important work and ensure this influential art form is celebrated for generations to come.

To showcase our impact, made possible through the generous support of our fans, we’re sharing exclusive content of our mission in action all week!

Rock Hall EDU: Q&A with Lita Ford

Earlier this year, guitarist and original member of The Runaways Lita Ford took time with our Director of Education, Mandy Smith for a Q&A specifically intended for a new story made available on Rock Hall EDU, where teachers can find tons of free online learning resources for their students. Before performing an amazing set in “The Garage” and lending an artifact to the Museum, Lita talks about how she set out to master that “electric sound” from an early age, who inspired her to play & learn complex riffs, and her take on the “individuality” of rock & roll.

Check out performances direct from "The Garage” inside the Rock Hall with the legendary Lita Ford, as well as Nashville-based artists Maggie Rose and Liv Charette. Liv Charette performs her cover of Inductee Tina Turner’s “I Don’t Wanna Fight” and shares insight on her inspiration and more. Maggie Rose & Them Vibes rock the house with songs from Maggie’s latest album release, Have A Seat. Lita Ford lends her B.C. Rich Warlock guitar “Maurice” to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s artifact collection before giving a killer, stripped-down set of a few of her classics.
