Rock & Roll Hall of Fame to Host Virtual Teacher Summit

The two-day event includes virtual exhibit exploration, music-based workshops, social happy hour experiences, and more!

Learn how to connect music to your classroom during the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s 2021 Virtual Teacher Summit!

This year’s event, focusing on the digital education platform, Rock Hall EDU powered by PNC, will teach attendees how to incorporate the site’s resources into their curriculums. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in virtual exhibit exploration, enjoy social happy hour experiences, and take part in music-based workshops and breakout sessions with fellow teachers.

The 2021 Virtual Rock Hall Teacher Summit will be held via Zoom on Thursday, July 22nd and Thursday, July 29th. Those interested are required to attend both dates and can apply by email. 

Registration opens on June 1st and will close on June 18th. Accepted attendees will be notified that their application has been approved by July 2nd.

Emails are welcomed to [email protected] using the subject line “Rock Hall Teacher Summit 2021 Application” and should include: 

  • First and Last Name 
  • School Name 
  • School Address
  • Grade(s) taught 
  • Subject(s) taught 
  • Number of students taught 
  • A brief 500-word essay answering: “What does music mean to you in your life? And how do you incorporate music into your classroom?” 

Thanks to the American Electric Power Foundation, registration fees will be waived for selected participants. AEP has been a leader and generous supporter of Rock Hall EDU since its inception, and the foundation has played an instrumental role in helping this free, digital education platform reach nearly 1 million students worldwide. Attendance to the 2021 Virtual Rock Hall Teacher Summit is valued at $250.

Following the Summit, attendees will receive 60 days of access to recorded materials.
