Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Opens 2020 Inductee Exhibit

Plus, new virtual Induction photography exhibit, All-Access: Photography by Kevin Mazur, now open at rockhall.com

CLEVELAND, OH – The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame continues to celebrate its 2020 Inductees with fans, opening two new exhibits. The 2020 Inductee exhibit opens inside the Hall of Fame Gallery at the Museum on August 14th. Plus, fans can celebrate the Induction Ceremony’s most memorable moments with a new virtual “All-Access: Photography by Kevin Mazur” exhibit, which is now open at rockhall.com. 

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s 2020 Inductees include: Depeche Mode, The Doobie Brothers, Whitney Houston, Nine Inch Nails, The Notorious B.I.G., T. Rex, and Ahmet Ertegun Award honorees Jon Landau and Irving Azoff.

2020 Inductee Exhibit

Within the Hall of Fame Gallery at the Museum, fans can enjoy the newest Inductee class exhibit, each Inductees’ signature, career-defining video and song playlists (also available on the Rock Hall’s Spotify page) as well as the Power of Rock Experience.

Highlights from the 2020 Inductee exhibit include:

  • Marc Bouwer gowns designed for Whitney Houston from her early career
  • Signature star-shaped guitar played by Martin Gore of Depeche Mode
  • Outfit worn by Notorious B.I.G., pictured on the cover of XXL magazine tribute issue after his death
  • Suit worn by Patrick Simmons at the Doobie Brothers’ 1974 Knebworth Festival performance
  • Tunic worn by Marc Bolan of T. Rex during recording sessions for the album Tanx
  • Special photo of Jon Landau and young Bruce Springsteen
  • And more!

All-Access: Induction Photography by Kevin Mazur

The virtual exhibit on rockhall.com reveals intimate backstage portraits and epic images from unprecedented access to artists, captured by Kevin Mazur. Mazur, a pioneer and icon in the entertainment photography industry, has photographed most Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremonies, taking iconic images of Inductees from Paul McCartney to Pearl Jam.

Accompanying the photographs on rockhall.com are curated stories that celebrate rock & roll, including audio commentary by Mazur, and a corresponding playlist available on the Rock Hall’s Spotify channel. An accompanying physical exhibit is planned to open at the Museum this fall in conjunction with the November 7th HBO Induction special.
