Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Provides Fun for All Ages with Virtual Fam Jam Series Presented by John P. Murphy Foundation

Series kicks off March 13th with special free online programming for families celebrating #WomenWhoRock

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s free virtual Fam Jam series presented by the John P. Murphy Foundation and hosted in partnership with The Cleveland Public Library, The Beck Center for the Arts, and The Children’s Museum of Cleveland returns March 13, April 10 and May 8. Watch and join along on the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame's YouTube channel, beginning at 11 a.m. EST.

Thanks to the generous support of the John P. Murphy Foundation, fans can take advantage of Rock The Block Community Days throughout the year that provide free impactful, educational programming and increased collaboration with community partners. Rock The Block Community Days, presented by the John P. Murphy Foundation, kicked off earlier this year with MLK Jr. Celebration Day and continue with the virtual Fam Jam series.

Virtual Fam Jams feature music education activities curated by the Rock Hall’s award- winning Education team, live performances from The Beck Center for the Arts, crafts
with The Children’s Museum of Cleveland and story time with The Cleveland Public Library. Each virtual variety hour event is themed and jam-packed with engaging content for kids of all ages.

Upcoming virtual Fam Jam programming themes include:

  • March 13th. Virtual Fam Jam: Women’s History Month

  • April 10th. Virtual Fam Jam: Dance!

  • May 8th. Virtual Fam Jam: The Building Blocks of Rock

Teachers and parents can create a free account on Rock Hall EDU, the Rock Hall’s digital education platform powered by PNC to access a Fam Jam collection with
supplemental activity information including craft supply lists, instruction sheets, and accompanying activity worksheets, along with previous Fam Jam materials. Past Fam Jam events are also viewable on the Rock Hall’s YouTube channel.

Additional educational resources such as professionally developed lesson plans, presentations, videos, playlists, and writing prompts are also available for download on Rock Hall EDU. All materials meet national and state learning standards in a variety of subject areas.
