Stop the Hate: High School Youth Sing Out
Stop the Hate: Youth Sing Out
In partnership with the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage and Roots of American Music (ROAM), the Rock Hall is proud to host performances by high school students from across northeast Ohio who have been working with teaching artists to compose original songs. The winning high school class will receive $5,000 for their school. Songs are about all kinds of topics important to high schoolers including bullying, refugee crises, racism, drug abuse, among other themes.
Free and open to the public on the Rock Hall's Klipsch Main Stage on the lobby level.

The Mission of the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage is to introduce visitors to the beauty and diversity of that heritage in the context of the American experience. It promotes an understanding of Jewish history, religion, and culture and builds bridges of tolerance and understanding with those of other religions, races, cultures, and ethnic backgrounds, serving as an educational resource for Northeast Ohio’s Jewish and general communities.
Roots of American Music (ROAM) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to facilitate learning in diverse communities by providing customized arts programs, workshops, residencies and performances through use of traditional American music. We serve all ages and abilities.
