  • Rock Your World with STEAM May 18, a one-day family festival celebrating science and music with Great Lakes Science Center and Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD)
  • Pride on the Plaza with Lady J Martinez June 12, a free live drag show and DJ dance party on the plaza in celebration of Pride Weekend
  • Hungry for Music June 15, a free concert featuring students benefitting from the organization's instrument donations and instrument drive 
  • Gold Cup Tailgate, June 22, free concert with multiple bands and tailgate before the Gold Cup game next door at First Energy Stadium
  • Cuyahoga50 at North Coast Harbor June 23, a free community celebration with free live music on our plaza 
  • Fam Jam June 29, a free day of family fun and live music presented by KeyBank and CLE VIP
  • Bike Night with Inductee Vini Lopez, July 25, a free event with premium bike parking, live music and DJ-hosted trivia along with our friends at Rock-N-Roll City Harley-Davidson
  • Bike Night with Colin Dussault's Blues Project, August 15, a free event with premium bike parking, live music and DJ-hosted trivia along with our friends at Rock-N-Roll City Harley-Davidson
  • Rock and Resilience Community Day, August 25, a free event with songs and stories to inspire with special guests Inductee Ricky Byrd, Kathy Valentine of The Go-Go's, Liberty Devitto, Genya Raven and others fans can experience the healing power music together. 
  • Believe in CLE Yoga, August 30, led by Inner Bliss studio, enjoy a free yoga practice on the plaza followed by music, food and fun.

Wednesday nights 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., July 17 through August 14

Fresh, fun and full of energy our Summer in the City series bands bring the outdoor stage to life with exciting live performances. With the spirit of our newest exhibit, Forever Warped: 25 Years of Vans Warped Tour, in mind, these artists bring their unique sounds to our summer stage. For five weeks starting July 17 through August 14, head to the Rock Hall plaza on Wednesday nights to see the bands you need to hear right now.

The best part? Most of our live shows are free to the public - free series below

Live music by local artists and DJ sets can be heard during Rock Hall Live! Lunch by the Lake sessions weekdays from noon to 2 p.m. in June, July and August. Check the Onstage calendar for details on daily free performers.

Rock Hall Live! Sun Sets, offered on Fridays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. ET in July and August, feature free live music, trivia and craft beers from Great Lakes Brewing Company, Fat Head’s Brewery and Labatt Blue.

Planning your trip to the Rock Hall? We've got many pop-up programs, instrument demonstrations, trivia shows and musicians on our plaza all summer long. All demonstrations inside the Rock Hall are free with admission. Stop by our Onstage calendar to see your individual day lineups. 

Inductee fan days

Before you see your favorite Inductees in concert, come to the music and celebrate their legacies on Fan Days. As part of the general admission experience we'll show From the Rock Hall Vault induction ceremony footage, celebrate special artifacts and host discounts on merch. Free for members and donors. 

Stories of rock

A new twist on rock's history - stop by a Stories of Rock presentation, held by our Rock Hall experts. Learn about your favorite sounds and artists in our exhibits, or even compete to win a prize during one of our pop up game shows. Subjects revolve around Inductee, exhibits and anniversaries!
