About the Band:

Formed in 2015 by RA Washington, M[A]B looks to forage new pathways toward heart music by melding soul, blues, electronics, avant-poetics w/ futurist beats. Their debut album, BLK MUSAK is set for a May release on Glue Moon Records.

"JIMMY'S SONG" is a suite of music composed by RA Washington based on James Baldwin's celebrated book of essays, The Fire Next Time. M[A]B will be accompanied by a ten piece orchestra and choir composed of area musicians. This will be the premier of the new and innovating work.
