Memberships, which are tax deductible, support our mission to engage, teach and inspire through the power of rock and roll music.
Your membership starts on the day that you purchase it. You can even apply your ticket admission on the day of your visit to the price of membership and receive a discounted rate.
Enjoy your Rock Hall membership for a year or multiple years. Join or renew online, in-person or by mail. (Don't worry, we'll send a reminder in the mail two months before it expires!)
Your membership kit will arrive in 10-12 business days. If you want to visit the Rock Hall before your kit arrives, no problem. Just stop by the Membership Desk and bring a photo ID.

Where can I purchase a membership?
Memberships may be purchased:
- At the Member Express Check-In located in the Rock Hall lobby
- At the Rock Hall Box Office
- In the Rock Hall store

Can I apply my ticket admission to a membership?
Yes. If you enjoy your visit at the Rock Hall, you may apply your admission to the price of a membership and receive a discounted rate. However, you may only apply your ticket on the day of your visit. *Final price depends on the level of membership purchased.*
Can I get free admission the day I sign up for a membership?
Yes. From the day you purchase any level of membership, you will have unlimited, free access to the Rock Hall for a full year. In addition to one year of free admission, each level of membership includes different benefits.
Why are memberships tax-deductible?
Each level of membership is tax deductible because the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is a nonprofit organization. The money goes towards preserving the history and legacy of rock and roll as well as educational programs funded by the Rock Hall. You will receive confirmation of the tax-deductible portion in the mail within 10-12 business days.
If I sign up for a membership at the Museum, how many people are allowed free admission on the day of purchase?
The number of guests who receive free admission is determined by your level of membership.
Can I lend my membership card to a family member or friend?
No. Memberships are non-transferrable. Only the member and/or co-member may receive membership benefits and use the membership card.
How can I renew my membership?
You can renew your membership at any time by calling the Member Hotline, (216) 515-8425, or by visiting the Member Express Check-in located in the Rock Hall lobby.
Will I be notified if my membership expires?
Approximately two months before your membership expires, you will receive a membership renewal notice by mail.
KITS, CARDS & INFORMATION
I recently became a member. When will my membership kit arrive?
Please allow 10 to 12 business days for delivery of your membership kit. You may gain access to the Rock Hall before your card arrives by showing photo ID at the Member Express Check-in and your temporary ID card.
I lost my membership card. Can I still visit the Rock Hall?
Yes! Visit the Member Express Check-in located in the Rock Hall lobby and present a valid photo ID. A membership employee will find your name in the system, check you in, and order a new membership card.
My contact information has changed. Can I update it?
Yes, you may update your contact information by using our online form, by calling the Member Hotline at (216) 515-8425 or emailing [email protected].
I signed up as a member when the Rock Hall opened. Is my membership still valid? Am I recognized anywhere as a Charter member?
Charter memberships purchased when the Rock Hall opened expired one year after date of purchase. Those who joined at that time are recognized in the leather-bound notebooks located at the Member Check-In at the Rock Hall. Call (216) 515-8425 to rejoin today!
