A Crowd of People Outside of the Power of Rock Experience at the Rock Hall

Think you've seen everything at the Rock Hall? Think again!

We're constantly opening new installations or dusting off cool artifacts from our vaults to add to our permanent exhibits--in fact, you never know what you might see when you're here!

For example, our current exhibit, "Mellencamp," tells the story of a complex artist who forged his own path – transforming from manager-named “Johnny Cougar” to self-possessed John Mellencamp. Our 2017 Inductee exhibit displays personal items from this year's class, including Joan Baez, ELO, Journey, Pearl Jam, Nile Rodgers, Tupac and Yes. "Rolling Stone / 50 Years" takes you through the magazine's history with exclusive interviews, iconic covers and personal correspondences between the staff and some of the biggest musicians of their time.
